Fulfillment

These don't exactly fit into your garage

So you’ve built your audience. You’re blowing up like mad. You’re getting overdue recognition for all your efforts. Orders are rolling in from your online channels. So what’s the problem? Just when your signal starts to resonate with an audience you find you’re dropping everything just to stay on top of shipping orders.

Worse still, your pain only scales with your sales. The more you sell, the more you’ve got to ship. And the more you ship, the more time you spend in a byzantine underworld filled with creatures who just love to bite you in the keister. Monsters with names like VoidFill, Customs Paperwork, RMA, Vendor Compliance, and worse. DIY might be fun when you’re doing a few order a week. But try packing and shipping and supporting a few hundred. A few thousand. Twenty thousand. At some point you realize, Hey, I’m spending all my time dealing with noise instead of growing my audience.

Amplifier even puts your logo onto your packing slips to further create the impression that YOU shipped it.

WHAT’S IN A NAME? ONLY EVERYTHING.
Why do we call ourselves Amplifier? It isn’t because we’ve got some speakers we want to sell you. It’s because we strive to make your orders feel like they came straight from you. Some fulfillment companies don’t even provide packing slips, while others do drop in a piece of paper that looks like it rolled off of a tractor-fed printer made some time back in the late seventies. With Amplifier, get a clean, clearly ordered packing slip. What’s more, you can even upload your own logo on it for no additional charge. That way, when your customer opens up their order, they assume it must’ve shipped straight from you.

STRONG ENOUGH FOR A FORTUNE 100 COMPANY, BUT MADE FOR YOUR COMMUNITY.
Amplifier’s state-of-the-art Warehouse Management System (WMS) brings enterprise scale and performance to everything we do. By enterprise, we don’t mean the spaceship (though honestly this thing IS a fully operational battlestation and costs more than a 1930′s bungalow in Travis Heights.) By enterprise, we mean, a system so bad it can handle all the activity we throw at it while rolling its eyes, shaking its head and sighing “What else you got?” Beyond delivering the goods, our investment in a best-of-breed WMS bedrocks Amplifier’s unique hybrid of fulfillment and on-demand merchandising at scale.  We call it mass-customized fulfillment.

MASS-CUSTOMIZED FULFILLMENT
So check this out.  Most fulfillment companies run a traditional pick pack ship operation.  This means they warehouse traditional, mass-produced inventory and, when orders come in, they pick the corresponding inventory from its assigned location, pack it into a box and then ship it out.  It sounds easy to anyone whose never tried it.  But doing it well takes discipline. Amplifier does this all the live long day.  But now imagine if 50% of your orders arrived for products that didn’t yet exist.  Items that perhaps were even customized by your customers. Then your distribution partner would have to receive orders, run any number of manufacturing processes and then actually find a way to get those finished custom goods into the same shipping container as your traditionally-inventoried products.

Perhaps you’re asking yourself, why does this matter?  Some firms promise personalization but use drop-shipping third parties to deliver it.  Others produce personalized goods in separate facilities.  In both cases, non-integrated personalization means additional freight costs for someone.  Usually, it’s you.

It's the day after an order was placed. Do you know where YOUR orders are? Our WMS not only tells you (via Reports) but it can notify each of your customers as well.

SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED?
Amplifier does more than push envelopes. We offer a broad range of custom assembly services. Need to shrinkwrap your next release? We do that. How about giving every order over $50 a special freebie? No problem. How about shipping 100 units to a wholesale buyer? Got it. We do all this and more. Just tell us what you need. Odds are, we do it. And if we don’t currently offer a service, ask anyway. Most of our menu comes from clients who said I’d love it if Amplifier could do THIS for me! So you tell us, what can we do to make YOUR life easier?

What else can we do? Glad you asked.
